September 28, 2014 will be the event
“The Way
of The Marsi” Tourist-cultural route between Sirente Velino
and the National Park d 'Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise. It is a more
complex event supported by Foundation Carispaq, which will include in
Alba Fucens, the presence of the Legio I Minervia, a group of
reconstruction and historical re-enactment, which, through costumes,
instruments, objects properly and scientifically reproduced, will
recreate a small camp military at the inside of which will be made
teaching and demonstration.

JANUARY 2013 : STAMP DEDICATED TO ALBA FUCENS
We are pleased to inform you that, as a result of a
special application presented by Cooperative Alba Fucens (assisted by
Marsicafil of Avezzano), the Minister for Economic Development Corrado
Passera ordered for the year 2013 the emission of a
definitive stamp series belonging to thematic
"The artistic and cultural heritage Italian" dedicated to Alba Fucens.
In the press release of the Ministry consulted here you can
read literally:
"The artistic heritage and Italian cultural finally, will see the
creation an issue dedicated to five sites of excellence: the Complex
monumental Santa Sofia in Benevento, the archaeological area of Alba
Fucens (L'Aquila), the Renaissance Walls of Lucca, the Mole
Antonelliana and the Cathedral of Nardò (Lecce)", noting once again, if
proof were needed, such as Alba Fucens represents a reality of primary
importance at national and international and for this reason of pride
for the Abruzzo and Italy.
